Role Overview
The primary objective of this position is to produce required product in conjunction with team members insuring it is of high quality and is timely.
Responsibilities
Actively participate in numerous C# projects
Maintenance support of legacy code, including ASP/ASP.Net, MVC, JS, SQL
Gather and produce requirements and designs
Write and test code for the required product
Accurately plan software development activities and follow established processes
Share knowledge, mentor peers, listen and hear team members’ view points and provide a fair evaluation of differing opinions
Work productively as part of a software development team
Have the functional and technical skills and knowledge to do the job at a high level of accomplishment
Be helpful to others as an expert in some areas
Communicate effectively with management and with team members
Perform up to standard independently, self-starting
Ability to work independently, taking minimal support from others and necessity of guidance or help
Keep commitments
Actively participate in discussions regarding technical issues
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
Over 4 years of C# development, enterprise-class system architecture and design or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience
.NET Framework 4 (C#, ASP.Net)
.NET Core / Framework 5+
Good knowledge of SQL is a must
Demonstrated record of delivering high quality software products to market
Python - basic level
Awareness of current technology
Knowledge of jQuery, knockout.js is optional
Knowledge of Classic ASP is a plus
C++ and Containers (Docker) are optional
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to be a successful member of a team
Good English language skills
Desire to gain experience with distributed application architecture, interaction with offshore development teams
